I have lived in South Bucks all my life. Currently I live in the Amersham area with my family. I have 3 children – 2 teenage girls and one son who is now at secondary school.
When I’m not coaching or supporting students, I’m all about family time, sunshine-filled holidays, eating great food (especially if I don’t have to cook it!) and getting stuck into a good book. It’s how I relax, recharge, and keep my myself positive—something I always encourage others to do too.
I have worked in secondary and grammar schools for the last 16 years. The last 8 years I have worked in a local grammar school within a pastoral and safeguarding team, so I am DBS checked. I love working with young people and supporting them on their journey through the teenage years.
After spending several years working in a pastoral department, I wanted to do more to support young people. This led me to enrol in a Youth Life Coach qualification allowing me to take a more strategic approach and use proven methods when working with them.
I believe that with the right support at the right time, every young person has the potential to grow, thrive and find their way. I’m passionate about being someone they can trust—someone who listens, encourages, and empowers them to believe in themselves.
We can meet or have a conversation over the phone for an initial chat to see if I am the right coach for you, before we commit to working together. This meeting is a chance for you to explain the areas that you want to work on and whether coaching is right for you. I’ll listen to you carefully so I can really understand what’s important to you.
- A Safe, Judgement-Free Zone:
- Helping You Grow:
We’ll talk about any beliefs or thoughts that might be holding you back and figure out how to overcome them.
I’ll gently encourage you to step outside your comfort zone in a way that feels right for you.
- Keeping You Motivated:
I’ll notice if your motivation dips and help you stay positive and confident.
Together, we’ll create a plan to reach your goals, and we’ll check in on it every session to make sure you’re on track.
- Practical Steps to Stay Focused:
Sometimes at the end of the session, I’ll give you a simple task to work on—it’s like a little homework assignment to keep you focused.
If you ever need extra support or have questions between sessions, I’m just an email away.
